to promote the northern part of amsterdam , an old ferry that runs between amsterdam central station and the north of amsterdam was painted red, during one month several cultural events where organised in and around the ferry, a proposal to change the ferry in a changing artobject on the water by painting different shapes in color while sailing couln't be realised
a mix of soundrecordings with specific sounds from the north of amsterdam was chosen instead
passengers heard it through the intercom of the ferry
